When asked if they fully utilize their veterinary technicians, most practice leaders would answer "Yes!" However, data shows technicians are utilized at only 46.8% of their potential. With tools like the AAHA Technician Utilization Worksheet, practices can measure how well their technicians’ skills are being used and find opportunities for improvement. This session will provide tangible strategies for achieving small, incremental utilization goals that lead to significant strides in team satisfaction, patient care, and retention. Attendees will share their own challenges, successes, and lessons learned in optimizing technician utilization.
